My wife wanted to turn the garage into a den and I didn’t have any problem helping make that happen.
In fact, I thought it was a wonderful idea. My wife found a perfect spot for the desk and she had everything set up when the furniture arrived from the manufacturer. Unfortunately, we didn’t think about the mini-split ductless HVAC unit on the wall. We didn’t even bother to measure to make sure that the desk would fit under the ductless HVAC unit. That was a huge mistake and we realized our error as soon as the item was delivered. My wife suddenly had to rearrange all of her plans to accommodate the new piece of furniture. We could not safely or easily move the ductless HVAC unit, so our only choice was to find a new spot for the desk. Now that we finally have everything set up, the place looks great. My wife moved the desk to the other side of the room and we had plenty of spots to put the television and the entertainment system. My wife and I spend a lot of time in the garage now that we have a more comfortable place to sit and work. I hate leaving to go to work and I wish I could sit home with her all day. She quit her office job and quickly found something online, but it is taking me a lot longer to find the right job. It would be nice if my boss would let us work from home instead of making us punch a clock every morning.
