I think that I can save a lot of money with a better SEER rating A/C

I was online looking up some energy saving help when I came across SEER ratings! I genuinely knew that it was our air conditioner component that uses up most of the electricity in the house, then what else would explain the fact that our electric bill is almost twice as much in the warm season as it is in the wintertime? After all, we live in a mediterranean climate, so our wintertimes are genuinely mild and wet and our warm seasons are boiling and dry. We might use the gas furnace for a week in the wintertime but we use the air conditioner component for months on end in the warm season, there entirely is no way around it. We have to be cool as well as comfortable. I pulled out our old owners manual for our HVAC plan as well as I was able to calculate the SEER rating for the house based on the information there. I guess that the SEER ratings change over the years for the worse so it is easily not an accurate number, but it gave me a rough estimate! Let me tell you, the SEER rating in my HVAC plan is terrible. It less than a quarter of what newer HVAC units are rated at this week. I entirely think my family might save a lot of energy if we have a whole modern HVAC plan installed in the house. I bet we would have enough energy savings that the modern HVAC equipment would pay for itself in just a few years. I’m going to call up an HVAC supplier as well as see what kind of deals they can break us.
