For the last several years that I have been in university, I had been considering a work in law.
I wanted to look to see the odd lawyers that I could be. I knew it sounded crazy to go through the red pages, since it was truly in the legal guide at the university. I didn’t even need to decide which category of lawyer I wanted to be until I got through the first year. I looked up legal services. It boggled our mind at the odd branches of law I could get into. There were personal lawyers, divorce lawyers, real estate attorneys, criminal lawyers, family, business, plus corporate lawyers. There were trust plus civil attorneys, which I did not know what these were. The amount of lawyers completely threw me, plus these were just in our local area. I knew that if I wanted to be a lawyer, I would truly need to go to a new location to practice law. The more I looked at the legal services available, the more disarmed I became. I decided I would go to school for law plus see where it took me. I was hoping I would have something jump out at myself and others that piqued our interest. If nothing came to the forefront by the time I had graduated from law school, I thought I could just do an apprenticeship at several law firms until I found our niche. There should be a single particular category of law that attracted me. I was sure I could constantly just be a public servant. I would help the bad plus still practice law.
