I called up the art school and mentioned the heating and cooling issue to the lady at the front desk who answered the phone.
My kids go to an art class every week but they keep telling me that there is something wrong with the heating and cooling system in their classroom. At first I thought that they were just being overdramatic. My kids all have a really active imagination and so they come up with things all the time that aren’t necessarily exactly true. I don’t mean that they lie, exactly, but they do tend to over exaggerate here and there! So I didn’t really pay all that much attention to them whenever they started complaining about the fact that the room was way too cold whenever they were in class. My one daughter said that it seemed like the furnace system wasn’t even working whenever they were in class. Whenever they started taking blankets into art class with them, I started thinking that maybe they were actually telling the truth. I called up the art school and mentioned the heating and cooling issue to the lady at the front desk who answered the phone. She told me that they had been having some trouble with the HVAC system in the part of the building where my kids’ painting class meets. I guess they have been having their commercial HVAC company at the school every other day or so, but nothing is really getting resolved. I am afraid that they might not ever get the heating problems resolved at this point! The receptionist told me that they were putting electric space heaters in the classroom for this week because the weather is supposed to be really cold.
