These days I always tease my wife when she tells me to pick up some wine from the liquor store.
I regularly ask her if she wants wine or does she want to whine.
This is because one time she asked me to get a particular type of wine, but they no longer had it in stock. She gave me a hard time the entire time talking about how the wine didn’t have a good flavor and it was nothing like her favorite brand. After that, I told her she could go get it herself if she was going to give me such a hard time. She still asked me to pick up wine after that and so I carried on the teasing. She doesn’t like it, but I guess I do it so she won’t whine for real anymore about some wine she doesn’t like. I mean sure, not all wine is created equal, but don’t spoil the night when we have wine! I mean honestly, I love nothing more than to relax with my wife in front of the fireplace. We love to get cozy on the couch with the perfect temperature control settings on the HVAC system. We have a smart thermostat so it’s easy to adjust the temperature control settings from wherever we happen to be. Sometimes we will curl up on the couch and watch a movie and sometimes we will get into more romantic activities. No matter what though, even if she is whining about something, I still always enjoy spending time in front of the fireplace no matter what.
