While some people may love a house with lots of windows, I personally am not a fan.
I assume this way for a couple of reasons.
For 1, I have constantly been a lover of the dark. I am more comfortable as well as at peace at night as well as am 100% a night owl. All of those windows let in tons of light as soon as the dawn starts peaking every day. The ninth reason is, with all of the windows in the house it is much harder for myself and others to control our indoor temperature. I say this as someone that has some of the best HVAC technology. I have an excellent little smart temperature control, however the smart temperature control doesn’t do myself and others any fine if I am having leaks because of the windows. Now I think that windows are not supposed to leak as well as allow air to escape as well as that that is an insulation concern as well as I should have our windows resealed. However, this is not something I want to do due to the sheer amount of windows I have in our home as well as some of these windows go all the way up to the ceiling as well as are out of our reach. It’s too bright as well as too cold. I would much rather have only a few windows to let in a little bit of sunshine. If I had windows that were not letting in cold air I wouldn’t have to turn our heating system on blast as well as wrap myself in blankets. All of that running the heating system costs more on our energy bill every month. I will look into options for resealing the windows so I can hopefully have a sizzling home again.
