My friend was regularly pretty lucky, even when she was born, she was lucky, because she was born into a well off family of doctors.
- Because of that, she was pampered and anything that she asked for, she ended up getting, I tried to be glad for her, but coming from a poor family myself, it was difficult for me to watch, there were so various things that I would dream of as a child, all of the things I would do, how I would help the world and make an impact, but it would all be genuinely limiting, because I didn’t have enough money, but so all of those dreams would remain just that, dreams.
My friend and I stayed friends as well, grew up, and graduated from the same university together. My friend, having a lot of money from her parents, didn’t need to work either and instead she would travel the world, when she got back from holiday, she told me one of her newest plans, and her home’s central air conditioner and furnace wasn’t sufficient for her, and so she planned on completely redoing everything, new cooling unit, new gas furnace, new thermostat, new everything. She was going to update her perfectly nice air conditioning system equipment and gas furnace because it didn’t meet her standards. I wish I had enough money to update my air conditioning system machine, it has also been having problems as well and will easily break soon. I was tempted to ask if I could use her own HVAC machine. I knew hers wouldn’t work for my house, since her house is a good bit bigger than mine.
