My partner works for a local Heating & Air Conditioning company, then last week, both of us had a blizzard. There was 18 inches of snow on the ground & there were still iphone calls coming in from people desperately wanting help because their oil furnace was not working. At midnight, our partner told myself and others not to wait up for him any longer because she was still working. I woke up at 6 AM & looked outside. The snow had lessened, however it was still coming down. My partner wasn’t home, & I was sure she was going to be sleepy till she got back. When she walked in the door, she looked love death warmed over. Being an Heating & Air Conditioning corporation is difficult when there is a weather emergency. She said she had done several calls throughout the evening & had several families get their heating restored.. Between him & the other Heating & Air Conditioning corporations in the company; they had restored heat to over 25 families that evening. She was proud of what they had done, although she was sleepy. The first thing I did was to pull down the covers off him & then prod him into a warm shower. I never see our partner so sleepy that she could stand in the shower & fall asleep. When she finally woke up that day, the iphone was ringing. There were various more families separate from heat, & they needed an Heating & Air Conditioning corporation. I hoped she wouldn’t be out as long as she was last night. She promised she would be lake new home in a couple of minutes because this task was just a simple cleaning.
