The winter weather that we have around here is no joke.It is always so cold here in the winter that sometimes I joke that it is like living inside of a walk in freezer. My husband hates it here, and I think it’s because he grew up in an area where the climate is much warmer. He was not used to using his furnace very much at all during the winter. At the place where he grew up, they probably had to use their heating system maybe two weeks out of the year and that was it. For the most part, he said that they used to heat their home with a wood burning fireplace because they didn’t need a really expensive furnace unit like we have to have around here. Here where we live, you can’t go for more than a day or two with a broken furnace or you’re gonna end up freezing!I think that’s why my husband hates living here so much. He is always talking about moving back to where he came from and taking me with him! Of course, I don’t like living where the weather is too hot, and so I don’t want to move at all. Anyway, we really need to get our gas furnace fixed because it has been acting weird lately. Our pilot light keeps burning out and that’s a really bad thing to have happened when you are heating with a gas furnace! Before the winter weather really sets in, we are gonna have to get the furnace fixed. My husband says that it better not cost very much or he’s gonna put all of the money into his moving fund.
