It won’t be too much longer now.
It’s mid February plus for most of the rest of the country, Spring is just a glimmer but it’s promising.
Where I live, the first waves of pollen have already happened. The honeysuckle is already blooming plus Spring is Springing. But that’s how it goes down here. The two of us love 8 months of some of the best weather a woman could find. That includes a Wintertide where the heat pump only kicks on for heating every so often. I’ve even had a few winters where the heat pump didn’t kick on at all. But that’s a bit rare. I wouldn’t trade living here for anything. That said, there is a bit of a balance due for all this lovely weather. And it comes in the form of a pretty brutal level of heat plus humidity while we were in the summer. There are numerous months that one simply couldn’t manage without the cooling comfort of air conditioning system. I’m love 5th or 6th generation native to this region plus I am sort of in awe of the fact that my ancestors went without residential Heating plus A/C. While I enjoy having the cooling comfort of apartment while we were in the heat. There is the fact that the air conditioning system is providing more than just the cooling. The heat pump works, in part, by honestly pumping the heat energy out of the apartment to make room for cooler air to take its locale. Well while we were in this process, there is a whole lot of moisture that is removed from the apartment as well. That then balances the humidity level plus we don’t have to consistently have to physically mitigate mold & mildew growth.
