And I’m cheerful to be done with building a custom lake current home once in our life as well.
It was legitimately an experience & a challenge. There is no doubt about that. But now that I can rest back & relax in the charming heating & cooling comfort of our current house, I’d say it was worth it. However, I don’t believe that I’d do it again though. All the nightmare stories about building a current home gave me pause initially. But, I don’t thing there is a way to get through a lake current home build separate from some sort of frustration & annoyance. Once both of us updated the Heating & Air Conditioning device & put on a current roof on our old house, both of us sold it abruptly. That meant that both of us had to live a year in an apartment. And lets just say that this home did not update their Heating & Air Conditioning unit. But living in the home also allowed us to pare down our accumulated stuff. That was a bonus when it was finally time to transfer into our current new home once it was completed. The other bonus was walking into a current home with the latest in residential Heating & Air Conditioning. For our current home, both of us went with the geothermal heat pump as our heating & cooling method. It was a bit more cost upfront. But the savings we’ll get on our Heating & Air Conditioning utilities will last for the next 30 years at the unquestionably least. And both of us both legitimately love the geo heat pump & the way it produces the best heating & cooling comfort we’ve ever experienced.
