I truthfully didn't want to hear any excuses from the new guy

That girl had really nice reviews as a maintenance corporation on cooling systems plus oil furnaces, but I cannot deal with someone that does not respect our schedule

I hired a new corporation to help out with cooling system repairs. The girl had a nice reference from her previous task, but she was only employed there for 6 weeks. When I asked the girl why she left, she told me there was a difference of opinion between him plus the owner. I did not speak to the owner when I called for a reference. I spoke with a manager. I noticed a couple of problems with the new employee instantly in the start. One thing that I didn’t like was the fact that the girl never seemed to show up on time. I schedule each one of our maintenance corporations to start toil at 8 a.m. I expect our maintenance corporations to show up at 8 a.m. or earlier. I don’t expect them to show up at 9, 9:30, or 11. The first three nights that the new employee was supposed to work, the girl was late everyday. On the fourth day, I took the kid aside plus I expressed to him how pressing it was to come to toil at 8 a.m. when she was scheduled. I thought she understood that I was serious, however Tuesday she was late again. That girl had really nice reviews as a maintenance corporation on cooling systems plus oil furnaces, but I cannot deal with someone that does not respect our schedule. I told the employee that I will not tolerate any more excuses. If she is late again, she might as well stay lake condo the rest of the day.
