My husband Mike really loves his job as an HVAC technician. He’s been working as an HVAC technician for almost ten years now. Whenever we first got married, Mike decided that he was going to leave his factory job that he had been working at and go back to school to get his HVAC certification. At that point, I wasn’t really sure if that was the best thing for him to do, because his factory job was pretty steady and he was making good money there. However, Mike knew that he was not going to be happy there forever and he wanted to start a new chapter in his career and so he was pretty adamant about becoming an HVAC technician. Now that it has been ten years or so, I’m really glad that Mike went back to school and got his HVAC certification. He is really happy in his job as an HVAC technician and he does a really great job. Everybody loves his work, and he’s always getting compliments from people that he has done heating or air conditioning jobs for. His bosses at the local Internet company love him too, and he basically gets to set his own hours most of the time. Once in a while he gets asked to work an emergency call, but that is very few and far between. He says that he really loves helping people, and since he’s so good at HVAC work, he feels like he is very fulfilled in his job most of the time. I’m really proud of him.
