My neighbor must have had some issues with the air conditioner last night, because this morning there was a repair truck parked outside at 7:30 in the morning.
- I woke up at about 7, and the repair truck was already parked outside.
The AC repair truck was blocking my driveway, but I didn’t plan on going anywhere in the morning. I made breakfast for the kids and they went outside to play on their bicycles. I washed the dishes and completed a load of laundry. I dusted all of the knick knacks in the living room and all of the photos of the kids and our family. My husband called at 9:30 and he told me that he needed a couple of items picked up from the dry cleaner. The dry cleaner closed at 3. I honestly didn’t think the AC repair truck would be parked in my driveway all morning. The truck was still parked there at lunch and at 2, I finally had to go next door to talk to the neighbor. I told the neighbor that I needed to run some errands. I told her that that air conditioner repair truck was blocking my driveway. She apologized for the inconvenience and a minute later, a repair technician came outside to move the vehicle to the other side of the street. The AC repair technician also apologized for blocking the driveway. Everyone was extremely nice and apologetic. I surely could have asked them to move their truck a lot earlier and they would have been happy to help.
