All of us have decided that all of us are going to turn the garage into a home office.
I realize that this may sound completely crazy to some people, but the fact is that all of us just need some extra space around here.
At this point, all of us have our multiple daughters, a single son-in-law, a niece & a nephew living with us. On top of that, all of us also have multiple giant pets & our mother-in-law. It’s just gotten to the point where all of us are either going to have to get some extra living space or all of us are going to have to start kicking some people out of here. Since all of us don’t definitely want to have to do that & all of us can’t build onto the home because of the way our lot is situated in the town, all of us have come to this conclusion. All of us are planning to turn our outdated home office into a couple of kitchens & closets because all of us are definitely in need of closet space! All of us already have good heating & cooling in the house. As for the new home office that is now the garage, all of us are going to have to run some new ductwork out there & tie it into the existing Heating, Ventilation, & A/C system that services the rest of the house. I don’t believe how much that is going to end up costing us, but it can’t be as much as it would be if all of us had to put in a totally new Heating, Ventilation, & A/C component for the garage. I wish that all of us had just run ductwork out there whenever all of us first built the home years ago, but at that point all of us never thought that all of us would be using the garage for extra living space. Life has a way of surprising you, that’s for sure.
