Didn’t expect so many issues on the resume

My brother and I happen to own a turnkey business.

The two of us offer a variety of services such as modern home cleaning, painting, carpet, and tile work.

Business has been very great, especially since we actually picked up a sizable commercial property. The commercial property is a 600 unit apartment building with a great deal of elderly residents. The owner of the commercial property pays for us to scrub all of the floors throughout the building. The service is performed once each month… One month all of us task on all of the rugs and halls and the month after that all of us scrub and wax all of the tile floors. Approximately a month after we chose to pick up this commercial cleaning task, we easily had to hire another guy to task on the cleaning staff. I had a couple of resumes resting on my desk. I planned to have all the people come into the office for an interview. One of my employees looked at the stack of applications, then he noticed a couple of mistakes on the application at the top of the pile. That guy was our number one prospect. That’s why his resume was actually found on the top of the pile. He had a great deal of experience in the cleaning industry… Unluckily, I did not truly look carefully at the resume and I missed a couple of very pressing things. The name of the first business listed on the application was sincerely incorrect. The guy claimed to have worked there until 2008, although I was certain that business shut down in 2004. After checking the resume more closely, I made the choice not to call that guy for an interview.
