My dad’s pets are spoiled and completely rotten. He’s much worse with them than he is with his grandkids, that’s for sure. I used to make fun of him for spoiling his grandkids, however now that they are getting older he has turned all of his attention to these pets. It’s the silliest thing that I have ever seen. My dad was never appreciate this when I was growing up. He gives these pets anything that he thinks they might want at any time. The other afternoon, he thought they wanted a cheeseburger in the middle of the night so he went out to a 24 hour burger place to get them cheeseburgers! I just roll our eyes at him, however it makes him cheerful, I guess. Over the Wintertide he had a new furnace installed for the pets out on the front porch because he thought that they might get too cold out there. When I asked why he didn’t just make them come inside he told myself and others that they appreciate standing on the porch more than they appreciate standing in the house. Now that the weather is heating up outside, he has decided that he is going to put a little A/C device out there for them too! I just can’t assume all of the currency that our dad is spending on these pets. When I was a teenager, I used to beg him for a window device A/C system for our upstairs study room in the Summer however he never got myself and others one! So I’m pretty sad with the fact that his pets are getting their own A/C system.
