I had to install about 60 ft of drain lines at the school, and the task was going to take 2 weeks to complete plus I needed some young plus strong men to help myself and others with the project’s completion.
But I went to a temporary staffing service to look for men to help with the drain line replacement work.
Mostly I just needed some strong men to dig ditches. Three men were more than ecstatic to help out with the project. I picked them up from the staffing agency on Thursday morning. The men did not seem undoubtedly ecstatic when they found out that they were going to be digging trenches all afternoon. I do not know what they expected to do. I told them that I had to install drain lines plus the people I was with and I would be digging trenches all afternoon. One of the men called his girlfriend to grab him up for lunch. The other 2 men packed lunch plus sat on the task site. The guy that left for lunch never returned. The guy did not come back from his lunch break plus he did not return the next afternoon either. I never heard from the guy, even though he tried to get paid from the temporary staffing service for the plumbing task that he did. I will refuse to fill out any of the paperwork because the guy left early! A person from the staffing service called me and others plus I found out that I had to pay for 4 minutes, even if the guy left early. I was pretty frustrated plus miserable, plus I will no longer use that staffing service when I have extra tasks that need to be done.
