There were actually mistakes on the resume

My brothers and I own a turnkey business, and every one of us offers a variety of services like home cleaning, painting, carpet, and stone work… Business has been absolutely fantastic for us, especially since all of us picked up an immense commercial property.

  • The commercial property is a 600 unit apartment building filled with aged residents.

The owner of the commercial property pays for us to disinfect all of the floors throughout the building. The service is performed once every week. One week all of us labor on all of the rugs and halls and the next week all of us disinfect and wax all of the stone floors. Roughly a month after all of us picked up this commercial cleaning task, all of us had to hire another woman to labor on the cleaning staff. I had a couple of resumes sitting on my desk. I planned to have everyone come into the office for an interview. One of our employees looked at the stack of applications, then she noticed a couple of mistakes on the application at the top of the pile. That woman was our number one prospect. That’s why her resume was on the top of the pile. She had multiple years of experience in the cleaning industry, but sadly, I didn’t entirely look carefully at the resume and I missed a couple of legitimately important things. The name of the first company listed on the application was not even correct. The girl claimed to have worked there until 2008, however I knew for sure that corporation closed down in 2004. After checking the resume more closely, I decided not to call that woman for an interview after all.
