There are cold spots in our house because of the air ducts.
At first I thought maybe that my house was haunted because I kept noticing that there were cold spots that kept moving around in my house.
I’ve watched too much TV, and so I think about ghosts being in my house all the time. Everyone in my family makes fun of me because they think that I am crazy when it comes to all of this paranormal stuff that I’m always thinking about. However, I was not imagining these cold spots! Finally my husband started noticing the cold spots too, and that’s when he said that we needed to call the local heating and cooling company to come and check things out in the house. I was kind of hoping that the HVAC company would not find anything because I wanted to prove to my husband that the house was haunted! But of course, that was not the case at all. The HVAC company came and inspected the duct work and they told us that we need to have some ductwork sealing done. Apparently, there are some gaps and cracks in our existing ductwork, and that is what is causing the cold spots throughout the house. I didn’t even know that that was a thing! I learned a lot about ductwork over the past week. I also learned that my house isn’t haunted at all! I guess I am relieved about that, but I still kind of wanted my husband to believe in that kind of thing the way that I do.
