Moist lower level ruins the mood

Moving into our brand new house, my pal and I had to make some big decisions about how to best utilize the unofficial floor plan to the best of our abilities.

The home is an outdated split level home, which means it has two separate residing rooms; one on the top floor when you first walk in, plus one on the lower level, a few steps down from the kitchen.

My pal and I decided at the time that my pal and I would use the lower floor as our “real” residing room, plus tried to create a warm plus welcoming environment in the space so my pal and I would love spending time together there. The only problem is, this level is anything but warm plus welcoming. Actually, it’s pretty cold plus moist. My pal and I had no idea when my pal and I were moving in that this room would be at least 10 degrees cooler than the rest of the home at all times. It’s close proximity to the inherently cool ground keeps the air undoubtedly cold plus wet in this space downstairs. It was only after a week or two of residing here that my pal and I realized how unpleasant it felt to be in such unofficial air quality, plus how consistent these indoor air conditions were. My pal and I slowly came to the realization that this cold, wet air was never going to improve unless my pal and I did something about it ourselves. My pal and I never intended to invest in Heating & Air Conditioning equipment for this house, so my pal and I had to come up with another plan in order to establish a comfortable residing room. This is how my pal and I wound up in this identifiable situation, perspiring to death as my pal and I lug all our furniture up the stairs to the warmer plus drier air on the upper level room. I’ll tell you, even the best laid plans of mice plus men…
