We should be getting our supplier cards for our band in two days and after that I can start handing them out to clubs and bars to try and get gigs this summer.
- In the coming winter season my pal and I are going to be heading north to the mountains to do shows in the ski resorts, which should be a fun time because my pal and I can ski in the afternoon and do shows at night.
That would be a pretty cool winter if my pal and I can pull it off, which I suppose my pal and I can do if my pal and I contact the clubs early enough. A fireplace by the period to keep us warm, or a small space heater, is pretty much all my pal and I need to be comfortable while playing music for the skiers. Who knows where life will take us with this music venture but my pal and I are sure going to try and make something happen while my pal and I are still alive. I like working on Heating and A/C systems but it can get kind of boring over time, so playing music at night in temperature controlled clubs would be a nice refreshing change from the humdrum labor for the local company each week. I don’t know how people labor at a task for 40 years, a task that they don’t even like just for money, although I suppose some people have no option so they just do it. I have a option though, so I don’t have to do heating and cooling labor the rest of my life if I can make this music thing labor over the next few years.
