This year my allergies are making me so itchy that it is driving me crazy. I don’t know what’s going on with the pollen count around here, but I do know that it’s making me feel like I’m going nuts. The trees in our yard seem to be blooming more and for longer than ever before, so maybe that’s part of it. One of the things that I’m going to try doing this year to help get rid of the allergy symptoms is to talk to my HVAC company. I’ve never done that before but then again, I’ve never had allergy issues quite this bad before, either! It’s literally the worst that my allergies have ever been and it’s nowhere near the end of allergy season, either. I have a long way to go, and so I’m going to call up my local heating and cooling company to ask them if I can get an appointment for a professional air duct and vent cleaning. I feel like getting the air ducts in my house cleaned professionally would definitely help with the indoor air quality in my house. Another thing that I’ve been doing some research on is something called a whole home air purification system. This type of air purifier can be set up to work in tandem with your home’s existing heating and cooling system. With one of these systems, every time your furnace or central air conditioning kicks on, then the dust, dirt, and pollen gets removed from your ventilation system before you have a chance to breathe it in. it sounds too good to be true, in my opinion! I’m going to find out about it anyway, though!
