Occasionally, I’m simply my own worst enemy.
And this recent experience when it came to my Heating and A/C component is a perfect example.
I can get so tenacious about some things to the point that I’m relentless. This is a good quality to have inside the zone controlled Heating and A/C of the office. But that’s honestly where it should stay. Too often, I get nearly obsessed with small details or puzzling circumstances and can’t let it go. That’s exactly what happened when the Heating and A/C unit stopped working a single night just before bed. Where we live, the heat and humidity can be brutal from June through November. That’s the time that we need all the Heating and A/C cooling in our house that we can get. This is also the time that I need some A/C in order to get some sleep. The heat pump just quit running that night and my fiance started to call the Heating and A/C business. I stopped his because I thought that I might be able to save us an after hours Heating and A/C service call fee. Why I thought this, is baffling. I have zero training in heating and cooling. On top of that, I’m really not known for even being a particularally good handy man. But I leapt on this A/C problem and wouldn’t let go. My fiance, he put a fan in front of the bed, opened the window and went to sleep. I stayed up half the night however still couldn’t figure out what was wrong with the Heating and A/C unit. After a night with nearly no sleep, I finally called the Heating and A/C professionals.
