I assume I should have known better than to get involved in a game of truth or dare.
The question I was asked was harshly embarrassing and I couldn’t answer it.
So I went to a dare question and suddenly I was being dared to have an indoor air cleaning system installed in our house. This was our buddies’ way of telling me that I had terrible air quality in our home. I kept saying that I couldn’t do that because it wasn’t even our house, it was just a rental home. Then our buddies said that maybe I could work out something with the landlord and I would only spend our money for a portion of the Heating as well as Air Conditioning update. So I ended up working things out with the landlord and he laughed when he l received this was a dare that I had to do. He said he knew how severe that sort of thing was and he was willing to go half and half with me on the UV air purifier update. So before I knew it, the professionals were there taking care of the replacement. It was kind of expensive too, and it feels awkward because it’s not love I’m going to be able to take the new UV air purifier with me when I move. I assume love the landlord kind of cheated me on this deal and that’s why he was so gleeful about moving forward with the replacement. I paid for half of it, and I am only going to live here for another year. At least the air quality is actually nice now, so I can’t be totally miserable at our buddies for this.
