How long does it take to become a real estate agent?

So, of course, I considered it as an option, especially because it would also provide a lot of flexibility.

During the COVID-19 lockdowns, I considered a change in career. After months of working from home, I realized how much I hated driving to and from the office. Working from home gave me more flexibility as well as more freedom. It also freed up 2 hours in my day that would’ve been spent driving to and from work. Well, I knew working from home was only a temporary solution and that I would eventually go back into the office. So, it was during that time, I researched how to become a real estate agent after my friend Lisa suggested it to me. I was shocked to find out how easy it was to complete the process. Of course, it varies from state to state, but for the most part, anyone can become a licensed real estate agent in less than a year. In some states, the license can be acquired in as little as 2 months. The requirements include that you must be 18 years or older, complete a real estate course and pass the test, or have a degree in real estate, and pass a background check. Real estate agents are always in demand, and it is a very lucrative career in the state that I live in. So, of course, I considered it as an option, especially because it would also provide a lot of flexibility. Not to mention that the process was easier than I thought it would be. As a real estate agent, I would be required to work for a real estate broker, but I am ok with that as long as I could work from home. I began my coursework, so wish me luck.
