As a traveling nurse, I only use corporate housing

Having that flexibility of the lease has given me more peace of mind

I have been a nurse for about 15 years now, and I absolutely love my job. Though it can be stressful on occasions, I do enjoy that I can help people when they are in need. Being a nurse requires that I am always well rested and present for my job because it could be a matter of life and death. My goal every day is to make sure that my patients are receiving the best possible care. Due to the pandemic, I was able to travel to other hospitals around the country that experienced shortages because of COVID-19. As you probably already know, many hospitals were understaffed and many of the nurses and doctors were overworked. I was happy to help where I could, so when the opportunity came up to travel to another hospital, I took it right away. Initially, I was concerned about where I would be staying, but when I discovered that the hospital used corporate rentals, my concerns were put to rest. Corporate rentals are furnished apartments that have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The amenities are much better than that of a basic hotel room. Also, hotel rooms are like studio apartments, but corporate rentals have separate spaces for living, dining, bedroom, and more. I especially like the month-to-month lease options because I can easily leave without any issues. And this works out well for me because some assignments can last longer than expected and some can also end prematurely. Having that flexibility of the lease has given me more peace of mind. For as long as I remain a nurse, I will always use corporate rentals as my primary source for lodging.
