Leaving fence removal to the professionals

We bought our house a couple of years ago.

We were able to afford such an advantageous location and sizable property, because the house had been left abandoned for a very long time.

There was a long list of repairs and renovation necessary. A leaky roof not only had to be replaced but had caused a great deal of water damage to the ceilings and walls. The electrical wiring wasn’t up to code and most of the plumbing pipes were corroded. We had windows that leaked air, signs of rodent infestation and outdated appliances. The cost of a new water heater, light fixtures and plumbing fixtures added up quickly. By the time we finished the inside, we had little energy or budget to improve the outside. We originally planned to tear out the old fence and construct a new one on our own. It didn’t seem all that difficult, and we hoped to save some money. After one long and awful day of battling bees, getting splinters in our hands and trying to avoid poison ivy, we changed our mind and hired a professional fencing and landscaping company. They brought in specialized equipment and a crew of workmen and removed the old fence in a few hours. They took care of all of the debris and leveled the property. The new fence was fully installed in two days. I am amazed by the huge improvement to our curb appeal, privacy and security. The fence is absolutely beautiful. We chose wood because it blends better with the natural scenery. Although it requires yearly weatherproofing, the job is quick and easy.
