I hated my Heating, Ventilation & A/C specialist.

From the hour the Heating, Ventilation & A/C specialist got out of her service van, I knew there was something about him I didn’t like. She didn’t smile or even say hello. She nodded at me when she saw me on the porch and asked where the AC component was situated. It miserable me that she was so surly. Maybe she just didn’t prefer ladies, her job, or whatever, but she didn’t have to be so agitated. She finished the servicing on my AC and told me I needed a new AC unit. I tried to ask him why I needed a new AC unit. She stared at me and then asked me if I trusted him? Frankly, she hadn’t given me any reason to trust him. She put the bill in my hand and went to her service. I looked at the bill and it was only for the service of the AC unit, but she hadn’t even signed it. She sat out there in her service, evidently on her iPhone. I was to the point where I hated this service tech, although I needed to find out what was going on with my air conditioner unit. She came back to the lake house and took a deep breath. She said something about the fan motor being shot, and it needed a new compressor. This evidently was the reason for my air conditioner component running so long and not putting out as much air conditioner as I was used to. She told me that if I wanted a hour opinion, the Heating, Ventilation & A/C supplier would send out a weird tech. I don’t believe why I trusted her opinion, although I told him she could do the job. I think you don’t need to prefer someone’s personality to trust their work.
