Back in the spring, we decided that we were going to make an investment in the indoor air quality in our house.
It’s not something that we tend to think about very often, but like most things, it’s probably something that we should at least pay more attention to from time to time.
At least we should pay more attention to the indoor air quality in our own home. I mean, after all, we need to think about the respiratory health of ourselves and our families. This year, it’s especially true because we are all thinking about the dumb virus and everything that goes along with that. Of course, when you’re worried about possibly getting a virus and getting sick, you want to do all that you can to avoid that possibility. For us, that meant several things. First of all, we decided to call our HVAC company and make an appointment for getting our air ducts and air vents professionally cleaned. Once that was finished, we decided to change the air filters in the HVAC system from the cheap ones that we usually used to these higher priced, higher quality HEPA filters. Then, last of all, we decided that we were going to have the HVAC technician come and install a UV light air purification system for us. I think that the UV light air purification system is the best thing that we’ve ever done for our air quality in our house. I really love it and I can tell a big difference in the air quality in our house now.
