We have had a really weird month. We found out last month that my uncle died and left us his house. His house is down in the south, though, and so we actually might end up moving down there. Of course, we have been talking about it non-stop ever since they did the reading of the will, but it’s kind of still hard to wrap our heads around. I mean, we suddenly have a completely free house on our hands. We don’t really want to sell it because it’s been in the family for so long. But moving south would be a huge change for us as far as the temperature and the climate goes. We had always had to deal with really cold temperatures in the place where we were living. The main thing that we had to worry about in the winter there was our heating system. There was always some kind of issue with our furnace system in our old house and honestly, it was becoming something that I was getting sick of. It seemed like every time I turned around, there was another problem going on with our furnace for some reason. We spent so much money on our heating system the year before we inherited the house that the thoughts of living somewhere that didn’t need a heating system at all was really tempting! We knew that if we moved to my uncle’s house, we wouldn’t need to worry about the heating ever again. Instead, we would have to start worrying about the air conditioning system!
