My favorite coffee shop here in town just got a new UV light air purification system installed. I guess it runs in tandem with their existing heating and cooling system. That way, every time the thermostat turns on the A/C or the furnace, the air purification system turns on too. I have always thought that this particular coffee shop always had great indoor air quality already. I always like to go there to work or to meet up with friends because they are so friendly and they have such good food and beverages. I also love the fact that they have a wonderful fireplace in the front seating area by the bookshelves. I just love to be in a place with a really great ambiance. I think that it makes it so much nicer to hang out there for work or food fun. When the manager told me that they were going to be having some HVAC work done in the coffee shop, I couldn’t help but ask him why. I mean, in my opinion, the place was already good enough. He explained to me that the owners had always been a big believer in air purification systems but with the pandemic going on, they wanted to improve it even more. They decided to upgrade their HVAC system and also add a newer, state of the art UV light air purification system to run with the furnace and the air conditioning. Now I feel even better about going there and supporting their business. They really care about their customers.
