I couldn’t even tell you why, but it’s been years since I had my ductwork cleaned.
I realized this when I started noticing a lot of dust buildup in my home. It didn’t matter how much I was vacuuming and dusting, the dust was everywhere. I was becoming agitated and then I decided to look up how this type of issue comes about. I saw that it was commonly an issue with the ductwork being dirty, and that’s when I realized I hadn’t had my ductwork cleaned in forever. It had been at least 4 years, and I suppose that’s pushing it. The air quality was clearly becoming terrible in my home and so I called the HVAC company. I arranged for the ductwork cleaning. They told me about another special they were having also. They said I could get a combination ductwork cleaning and an installation of a humidifier and air purification system. The combination deal was surprisingly good and I realized that I could afford it. So I told them I wanted to go for it. This was a good choice on my part because the air quality in my home is better than ever before. The humidifier is great because I can keep my temperature control settings minimal and still be comfortable. This saves me big money on the energy bills. The air purification system is also wonderful and I can’t believe I have gone this long without one. And with the ductwork, I definitely am not going to wait so long to have it cleaned in the future. All the stuff that was pulled out of there was nasty.
