Every now and then, my boss sends me on a trip to meet with one of his other companies and do some work over there.
It’s a completely paid for trip, with a nice hotel and everything, so I don’t really mind.
As I was driving down there, I couldn’t help but enjoy the view. I was surrounded by nature, and seeing all of the trees and mountains reminded me that I don’t get out often enough. I stopped by a fast food place, grabbed some food and then checked the clock. Thankfully, I was still on schedule and was going to arrive at the hotel at 4:30 pm. I finally pulled into the hotel’s parking lot a little early, and noticed the truck in front of me was a HVAC truck. I thought that it was a little odd that a heating and cooling truck would be at the same hotel that I was, and I wondered if they were also going on a trip. I entered the hotel at the same time as the HVAC technician, and when I entered the place, I could tell that my original guess was wrong. It was incredibly hot and humid there! The HVAC specialist was obviously there to fix whatever was going on with their HVAC device. I made it up to my room, and I was already beginning to sweat and wish I arrived later, when the HVAC machine was already repaired. Thankfully, it didn’t take the heating and cooling professional long before the furnace and A/C was fixed and the hotel began to feel normal again.
