Something I have typically wanted my whole life was to have heated flooring.
I grew up in an all tile house, however anyone who has a floor made of tile could tell you how frigid those floors can get, then when Winter time rolls around each year, your feet touching the floor can feel love touching ice, but even with the huge central heating plan warming up the house, that only seems to task for the indoor air. It doesn’t really hot up the floor. Well, as an adult, I had the same problem, plus I honestly didn’t really want to have frigid floors anymore. I decided instead to go for radiant heated flooring for the house… Radiant heated flooring was something I heard about sometime back, plus it was as if a light bulb went off. I knew that when I heard about heated flooring, that that was easily going to be the answer to our problems. Why rely on the central Heating and Air Conditioning system each day, when I had heated flooring at our disposal? If I was lucky, I could have beautiful radiant floors plus the central gas furnace absolutely working together. Too bad, when I spoke to a Heating and Air Conditioning business, plus asked about prices, I was actually only able to afford to have radiant floors in a single room, but so I decided to get the mass of flooring in the room I would use the most, our study room. After that, the indoor heated floor upgrade went smoothly, plus was surprisingly fast. The A/C specialist who came out and installed the floor was very nice, plus explained the basics of how it would work! The moment I felt how great those hot floors felt, I knew I never wanted to go back.
