James and Billy are my best friends.
They used to work on the first shift at the plant.
But when their wives got pregnant, James and Billy decided to go to the 2nd shift so they could be with their babies at all times of the day & night. It costs $250 every single month to put an infant in daycare. The guys and their partners did not want to put the babies in daycare and they did not want to spend a thousand dollars every month of their hard- received money. Unfortunately, James and Bill were the only ones that could fix all of the electrical concerns with these machines. They are whiz with electrical stuff. James and Billy can take a machine apart and rewire it so it works even better than it did before. We knew we were going to be in deep trouble when James and Billy moved from the first shift to the hour shift. Last Wednesday there was an issue with one of the machines. It kept sparking inside of the area where all of the electrical stuff is situated. I told the crew to shut down the machine. Another guy phoned the electrical specialist on duty and they could not fix the problem. I told the boys that we needed to contact James or Billy to fix the electrical problem. But, the boss did not want to pay them overtime. Instead, we sat around for 4 hours while the other person poked and prodded at the issue until he finally solved the problem. Jack would have had that fixed in less time.
