It's going to cost about ten grand to replace the roof

A couple of months ago, I noticed a leak in the ceiling above the washer in my business. I own a laundromat. I have twenty large capacity washing machines and 30 large capacity dryers. I handle wash and fold services and customers can come in and out during the day to wash and dry their own clothing and blankets. We do not turn anyone away. We even have special washing machines that are designated for pet bedding and blankets. These washing machines are older, but they still get the job done well. When I noticed the hole above the ceiling, I immediately thought about the roof. In this particular plaza, the roof is just a few inches above the ceiling. Leaks are a detection of roof repair that needs to be made. I called a roofing company near me that handles commercial repairs. The owner of the company is a good friend of mine. Jack came by to see me the following day. He climbed up to the top of the roof to assess the damages. When Jack came back down to see me, I didn’t expect him to say that I need a brand new roof. That was his honest professional opinion. I knew there was no reason to get a second opinion because I trust Jack. I have the roofing work scheduled for next week. It’s going to cost me a whole week of profits from the laundromat to get the roof replaced. I hate to spend all that money, but the new construction roof should last another thirty years on this building.
